Summer Teen Musical – Freaky Friday!

Ages: 10-18
Audition for Parker Arts and Inspire Theater Company’s youth summer production of Freaky Friday. Students will experience the process of putting up a professional musical production while developing confidence and skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Participants must sign up for auditions scheduled to be held on May 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with callbacks on May 19, from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Audition registration and packets and detailed rehearsal schedule are available at www.InspireCreative.org. Students will meet 2-3 times a week over the summer to rehearse and there will be a total of seven performances August 9-17.

Fee: $400 if cast. Students should register to class 15606
Auditions: Sa, May 18 (Must sign-up for audition time.)
Rehearsals: M, W May 29 – Aug. 8, 4:30 – 7:00 p.m.
                      Sa Jul 6 – Aug 3, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Summer Production Apprenticeship - Freaky Friday!

Ages: 15-18
Assist Parker Arts and Inspire Creative in producing the student summer musical of Freaky Friday. Tech student apprentices will be required to do an interview and present a design portfolio of past work.  If selected as an apprentice, you will assist in designing and building the scenery and technical elements of the production.  Students will be able to focus on areas of interest such as scenery, lighting, sound, props, and costumes. Tech Apprentice Program application and interview registrations are available at www.InspireCreative.org.
Interviews: Sa, May 18 (Must register for interview time.)

Fee: $125 if selected. Students should register to class 15607

Summer Production Stagehand - Freaky Friday!

Ages: 10-18
Students will work as the run crew for the production of Freaky Friday. Stagehands will join the apprentices in building the scenery for the production, and will help to run the backstage during the performances.  Stagehands must be able to be at every tech rehearsal and every performance of the show.  Stagehands can also work in specific areas of interest such as deck crew, sound crew, lighting crew, props crew, and costume crew.  
Fee: $75 if selected. Students should register to class 15608
Class: M, W, July 22 – Aug. 18, 4:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Performances:  F, Sa, Su, Aug. 9 – 17
