NEW VIRTUAL WORKSHOP Bee-Engaged: An Average Joe’s Guide to Becoming A Beekeeper
May 28, 2020 Zoom Virtual Workshop In this Workshop, the Average Joe Beekeeper will discuss why we need Honey Bees and how to support them through your gardening actions, hive hosting and even becoming a beekeeper. More than 1/3 of the food we eat is pollinated by Honey Bees and other pollinators. Through Beekeeping we gain a greater appreciation for Mother Nature and can observe how our actions can help effect the environment in a positive manner. At the end of this workshop the attendees with have a greater appreciation of the Honey Bee, will be able to determine if beekeeping is for them and will have a foundation for the next steps in getting their own bees.
