Summer 2019 Multi-Media Camps

Pokemon Movie Making

Work on a stop motion animated POKEMON Movie. Pick your favorite characters to star in your mini-movie; the possibilities are endless. Actions figures, props and backdrops will be available for filming in class. Handle all the technical details including using a digital movie camera, filming scenes, stop-motion animation, digital editing, and adding finishing special effects and transitions to the movie. Student groups' final projects will be emailed to parents, or students may bring a USB jump drive the last day.

Talk to the Camera YOUth TUBEr

Ages: 6-13
Does your kid love YouTube videos, or love to create their own videos in hopes of being the next YOU-TH TUBEr? In this class, each student creates their own personalized videos and/or group videos to become the next big YOUth TUBEr! Our professionals do the editing. The final class videos will be available for viewing on our website within a month after the last class.

Animation Flix

Ages: 7-13
All new animations for 2019!  In this fast-paced class, students will be creating up to four stop motion movies.  These will include dinosaurs, paper cartoons, white board, and a free choice day where students get to choose from playdoh, jewels, or items brought from home. (Additional $35 supply fee payable to Incrediflix on first day of camp.)

Game Coding: Super Mario

Ages: 8-11
This course will give you hands-on experience developing your own game using Scratch 2, a visual coding platform. Students will learn how to think like a programmer and learn coding concepts while creating a two-dimensional, arcade-style Super Mario Bros.-themed game. The first part of the camp will be instructor-led. With the time remaining, students will have the opportunity customize their games. Games created in camp will be available online. Alternatively, students can bring in a USB drive to the last session of class for immediate access.

Fall Multi-Media Camps

Halloween Movie Magic

Ages: 9-14
Does your kid enjoy zombies, vampires and screams? This camp is not for the faint at heart. Kids will work in a group to create a class Halloween themed movie while actively engaging in all aspects of movie-making. They’ll learn film techniques, production roles, and on camera acting, as well as social communication skills like eye contact, storytelling, teamwork, and active listening. Kids will also create scary slime in class to use as a special effect in the movie. Please send kids with clothes that can be destroyed. A final class video will be edited and uploaded to our website for parents and students to view once our editing process is complete. Parents can download and keep a copy of the final video for a small fee.
